Here are some tips for an even better experience!
Please be sure to read everything relevant to you.
First, please try to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment
Make sure you’re going to the right place!
Photoshoot location is determined by the school you attend.
Remember where it says when booking your appointment!
For first appointments, it is recommended to bring a parent or guardian.
For retakes, it is required to bring a parent or guardian.

Wear something strapless
You will be wearing a strapless gown over your shirt for a portion of the shoot. Wearing something strapless or where you can easily pull straps down makes this much easier.
Use minimal makeup
If you wear heavy makeup, it can cause an unnatural appearance and make retouching difficult. Yearbook images and all purchased images are retouched.
Don’t dye your hair or try a new style on the whim.
This is the leading cause of reshoots every year. When it comes to your hair, do something that you’re comfortable with!
Make sure your nails are clean and neat.
You will see your hands in some of the images. Please make sure your nails are neat. Also remember your school colors if you choose to paint your nails! Having other bright colored nails may look off. Of course, this is up to you. (We recommend neutral colors if you do choose to paint your nails.)
Wear a plain white t-shirt.
We will provide all dress shirts, tuxedos and gowns
To shave or not to shave.
If you are normally shaven, remember to shave prior to your appointment!
Please note: If your school has a specific grooming policy, it is mandatory to adhere to it. If you do not, your image may not be accepted. In the case it is not accepted, another session will need to be scheduled and a fee will be charged.
Get a cut before the big day.
If you need a haircut, please do it a day or two before. Don’t try to squeeze it all into one day!
Make sure your nails are clean and neat.
You will see your hands in some of the images. Please make sure your nails are neat.
If you have a class ring, make sure to bring it and let the photographers know.
If you have braces and expect to get them off before October 1st, let the photographer or the studio know!
Prop Photos!
Are you an athlete, musician, hobbyist or have a sentimental item?
Bring in a (non-human) prop with you and we will take a few extra photos of you with your prop in your cap and gown!
There is a $10 sitting fee due at check in per prop brought in for your session!
Retake Policy Information
We want every student to love their portraits, so we work hard to create a great selection during the original session.
If a retake is needed, portrait session retakes are available for a $30 fee, payable in cash at check-in.
To help ensure the best possible experience, a parent or guardian must accompany the student during the retake session.
After the retake, you’ll be able to view the complete retake gallery along with the original portrait set,
excluding the original yearbook pose.
PLEASE NOTE: Any images from the original session that qualify for the yearbook will be removed from the student’s gallery and replaced with the new yearbook-eligible images from the retake session. The original yearbook-eligible images cannot be restored once they have been removed.
